Finland won the event for the third time in six, after the triumphs of 2014 and 2016.

Kaapo Kakko has settled the impasse at 18:34 in the third twenty, and Finland beat the United States 3-2 on Saturday, winning the final of the world championship of junior hockey.

Otto Latlava doubled the cushion at 6 : 00 in the third twenty, before two goals in 1:40 of Americans. Alexander Chmelevski and Josh Norris have rekindled the hopes of americans, at 7:01 and 8:47.

Cayden Primeau has blocked 28 shots, while Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has made 25 stops.

The next edition of the tournament will be held in the Czech Republic.
