An intervention of the police to the Jean-Talon station has forced a disruption of service on the orange and blue lines of the metro for several hours Friday after-noon.

The service on the orange line, between stations Berri-UQAM and Henri-Bourassa, has been crippled to 14: 25, like that of the blue line, between the stations Snowdon and Saint-Michel.

The station Jean-Talon, which intersect the two lines of metro, has been evacuated following the intervention of the police. The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) has specified that the officers should perform checks at the station Jean-Talon, about threatening that would have required an individual. But the threat was unfounded, subsequently indicated to the SPVM.

The shuttle buses were offered to the users.

The service resumed gradually and it has been restored completely on the two lines to 16: 30.
