Mikaela Shiffrin has joined his childhood idol, Austria’s Marlies Schild, with 35 victories in slalom on the circuit of the world Cup.

Mikaela Shiffrin made history Saturday when she signed her 35th career win in the slalom and 50th in total in his career on the circuit of the world Cup of alpine skiing.

Shiffrin, who had a lead of four one-hundredths of a second after the first round, was dug to 0.29 when the next one in front of Petra Vlhova, who has finished second behind the racer star american in all three slaloms so far this season.

Shiffrin joined his childhood idol, Austria’s Marlies Schild, with 35 victories in slalom on the circuit of the world Cup. The last victory of Schild in the slalom, which occurred in December 2013, was recorded at the age of 32 years. Shiffrin will celebrate its 24th anniversary in march.

The American is also the youngest of eight skiers, four men and as many women, to reach the plateau of 50 wins in world Cup alpine skiing. The legendary skier Swedish Ingemar Stenmark in account 86 alone.
